"This travel grant allowed me to travel to the Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers, where I could present my research to researchers from around the world. The research I presented examined the relationship between brain activity measured on the surface of the head and activity measured from within the brain. By sharing our work with other researchers in neural signal processing, we received supportive feedback and avenues for further directions and collaborations. In the future, we will leverage the insights we gained from this research to develop methods to better estimate activity inside the brain with noninvasive measurements."
