Zina Helal is a third year PhD student in the tissue engineering lab of Dr. Antonios Mikos. As President of BIOE GSA this year, she looks forward to continuing and fostering the connectedness of our student community, representing student experiences to the department, and supporting a wide range of diverse and inclusive initiatives organized by our wonderful board. A fun fact about Zina is that she’s lived in three different states!
