The Rice chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) was named the 2020 Undergraduate Student Organization of the Year at Rice University.
The second annual Club Awards Reception was hosted virtually by the Rice Student Center on April 16. The award annually recognizes a registered undergraduate student organization that has “advanced the mission of Rice University by cultivating a diverse community of learning and discovery that produces leaders across the spectrum of human endeavor.”
With more than 30,000 members internationally, NSBE is one of the largest student-run organizations in the world. The Rice chapter has 56 registered members.
