2024 GSP Conference @ Rice
Rice will host the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine 2024 Gulf Scholars Conference. The Annual Gulf Scholars Conference brings together GSP students, faculty/staff, and community partners for making connections across the GSP network, sharing ideas, learning, and building the Gulf Scholars community. The conference includes presentations, discussions, and activities to engage participants in a range of topics such as: student poster presentations, community partner perspectives, career development, the future of the Gulf region, Gulf-related classes, and curriculum, and more.

Parking: Self-parking available in the Scurlock Tower garage entrance on 6535 Main St. No in and out privileges.
Valet parking, fee: $42 daily
On-site parking, fee: $15 daily

Guests may select their dates and room type to make reservations online, or guests can call the hotel directly at 713-422-2779 and select option "2" to speak with the hotel reservation team. Provide dates of your stay as well as the name of the room block, "National Academy of Sciences Gulf Research Program," to receive the $169 group rate.
Parking: Indoor parking is available in the Hotel Parking Garage. The hotel offers both valet parking with unlimited in and out privileges and self-parking options.
