Hi! My name is Maria. I am at Hanszen College and I’m majoring in Bioengineering on the pre-MD/PhD track and doing Data Science and Global Health Technologies as my minors. My experience in engineering communication comes from previous design courses, such as BioE 252 and GHLT 360. Additionally, I have ample experience creating posters and presenting my research in settings like the BRC, the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and various conferences including the Harrell and Carolyn Huff Engineering Design Showcase, where my team earned one of the top 3 awards last Spring. I am excited to share everything I have learned with you and help you present your work in a logical, concise, and effective way to create a positive impact on your audience. In my free time, I enjoy running, playing the classical guitar, and spending time with my friends.
