The Activate Engineering Communication program in the George R. Brown School of Engineering empowers students to transform their ideas into action through clear, persuasive communication. Realizing communication is essential to engineering, Activate coaches students to present their work well in class and competitions. Through interactive workshops and writing studios, students build confidence and competency. Communication instruction is embedded into the Rice Engineering core curriculum and the Activate program partners with Engineering faculty to accomplish this integration. Engineers need to be persuasive communicators who drive change. By supporting the Activate Excellence Fund, you will serve as a catalyst that helps our students transform their ideas and amplify impact.
