Research Areas
Rice is conducting research in the newest and most powerful computational techniques in work that demands knowledge of parallel and vector capabilities, visualization techniques, and networking and programming environments. Research centers on new algorithms and analytic techniques to utilize the power of advanced computational tools, and on applying expertise to numerical analysis, operations research, optimization, differential equations and scientific computation.
