There are a number of graduate fellowships that are awarded each year such as the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program and the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship. You will find information for those programs as it is posted on the relevant websites.

Graduate and undergraduate students are invited to participate in the exciting 2016 Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts-Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) Engineering Design Competition. Selected teams will receive a $6,000 stipend to assist in their participation and to defray costs of attending the RASC-AL Forum, held in Cocoa Beach, Florida in June 2016.  


Help in preparing NSFGRFP proposals

The Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Office of Proposal Development wish to ensure that Rice students have the best opportunity to succeed in their grant endeavors. The university is offering professional services to assist with all aspects of proposal writing. University editors will assist students with interpreting the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program guidelines, brainstorming, proof reading, and intensive high level editing. 

NASA fellowships and other opportunities
NASA offers several internships, fellowships and scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Pathways to Science
Pathways to Science is a project of the Institute for Broadening Participation. The organization places emphasis on connecting underrepresented groups with STEM programs, funding, mentoring and resources. Fellowships for masters and doctoral students are available, as is funding for travel and summer institutes.

Humboldt Fellowship for Postdocs

Submit an application if you are a researcher from abroad with above average qualifications, at the beginning of your academic career and only completed your doctorate in the last four years. 

2015 CSI Executive Search STEM Scholarship

$1000 is available to promising undergraduate and masters students pursuing degrees in science, technology engineering or math disciplines.
